The objectives of SKAI are:
- To provide opportunities for members to attend local,
state, and national workshops, conventions, and conferences.
- To provide opportunities that encourage students to
network with professional interpreters and members of the Deaf community.
- To build a network and comfortable-like atmosphere
between the first and second year students.
- To provide students opportunities to gain further knowledge
about the field of Sign Language Interpretering through club meetings and guest speakers.
- To provide opportunites for socialization within the
Deaf community to gain a better understanding and knowledge of Deaf Culture.
